Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@alevastudiosla.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Aleva Studios is located at 209 North Victory Boulevard, Burbank, CA 91502. We are conveniently situated for residents of Burbank, Toluca Lake, Glendale, and Studio City. We offer free on-site parking for all members to make your visit stress-free.

We specialize in Modern Reformer Pilates. Our classes combine the precision of traditional Pilates with modern athletic movements  to focus on strength, flexibility, and core stability.

Absolutely! We welcome all fitness levels. Our reformer equipment is fully adjustable, allowing beginners to start with lower resistance and progress at their own pace under the guidance of our certified instructors.

Just yourself and a positive attitude! Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene on the reformers. If you don't have a pair, we have them available for purchase in the studio. We provide all other equipment, including reformers and weights.

We offer both! While our small group classes are a community favorite, we also provide one-on-one private sessions and semi-private training for those looking for a more personalized experience or injury rehabilitation.

Yes, we do! We love hosting private groups for birthdays, bachelorette parties, or corporate team-building events. We can customize a private group reformer class to fit your vibe, whether you want a high-energy "sweat session" or a mindful movement experience. Contact us directly to check availability and package pricing.

Assisted stretching involves a trained professional helping you move your muscles through a full range of motion to improve flexibility, mobility, and posture.

Unlike self-stretching, assisted stretching allows for deeper, more effective stretches with better alignment and support from a trained practitioner.

Pilates develops strength in elongated positions, while assisted stretching enhances the flexibility required to achieve those positions. Stretching aids in quicker recovery after Pilates sessions, and Pilates helps maintain the benefits gained from assisted stretching. Additionally, Pilates fosters control and awareness, whereas assisted stretching provides the necessary range of motion to apply that control effectively.
